Announcements

Zion Members (especially the Parents/Guardians of our young people/children): Please advise your youth/children that the use of the piano(s), drums and the organ are for the staff musicians only. All unathorized/unsupervised use is prohibited. The maintenance on these instruments is rather costly and recently we have had to make a number of unplanned repairs to our musical instruments due to misuse. Thank you for assisting us in keeping our costs low and your church property in good working condition. God Bless

Pastor Gerald J. Joiner

Dear Saints of Zion:
The church body in attendance at our February 8th Business Meeting voted to approve our 2012 Annual Budget. In addition, the attending church body also voted to adopt an Extra Sacrificial Offering Assessment of $3.00 per member for the remaining 46 weeks of 2012. This Extra Sacrificial Offering Assessment of $3.00 per member, per week, (replaces the prior $2.00 deficit) is to be in addition to, or over and above, our regular tithes and offerings. This Extra Sacrificial Offering Assessment of $3.00 per member is needed in order for us to meet our projected ministry expenses for 2012. It is our collective prayer that you will allow the Lord to bless you by complying with this request and help us continue our effective ministry to this community.

Sincerely,
Pastor Joiner and the Officers of Zion Baptist Church, Inc.
Members, if you missed our Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday night and you are interested in the printed material, please let me know. I have a number of packets available. Thanks.

Nannie Caldwell, Church Secretary
